Lowe's "Toolbox for Education" Grant!

Today we received a grant check from Lowe's for $5000.00! This will be applied to our amphitheatre construction at the Civitan Park. For those of you keeping up, that makes a total of $30,000.00 collected for this project!

Update: We have spent the first semester collecting information and filling out all the required paperwork. The last of the paperwork is in our central office now. Once completed, we will be ready to start making our purchases. Our laptop lab and science amphitheatre are very close to becoming reality.

I spoke with Representative John Robinson by phone today and he has graciously agreed to help fund our project. He is committing an additional $5000 to the amphitheatre that will be built at the Civitan Park!

Just the basics...

Pisgah High School's 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students are about to embark on a new journey unlike any so far. We have received a grant for $20,000! With this money we are going to look at learning in a brand new way. Laptop computers are coming our way! We are also going to provide our community with a new amphitheatre at the Pisgah Civitan Park.
